Help Watson the Cat

Watson Belly

My friend Watson the cat has developed severe kidney problems and is staying at the animal hospital. His treatment and stay are expected to be pretty expensive, so I’m trying to raise some money for him (and any donations in any amount are gratefully accepted).

To help him out, I’m doing $60 mini-bust commissions, just like the ones I did recently at Boston Comic Con (you can see examples here and below). Any character you’d like in any style you’d like.

Here’s how it works

  • Contact me here, email me at jfsculptsemail01 (at) gmail.com, or tweet me @jfsculpts and let me know character/style you would like
  • Once I’ve contacted you to confirm, donate $60 to Watson’s GoFundMe page
  • Send me your shipping info (U.S. only at this time) and in 1-3 weeks  you will receive your sculpture

Watson and I thank you!

OCTOBER 23rd, 2015 UPDATE:

Watson is doing much better now! While he has and will likely have some kidney-related issues for some time, and needs to put some more weight back on, he is back at home and doing just great.

Watson will never know just how many people reached out to help him when he needed it. Thanks for all the support!

SPIDER-MAN (Not the Spider-man You’re Thinking Of)

A while back I was asked to sculpt a beautiful hairless cat named Spider-Man. Although I didn’t get to meet the model in person, his owners sent me some pictures of the handsome boy. I hope I did him justice.

Every time I sculpt animals I think I should do it more often.
